The National Press and Publications Agency issued a Circular on Organizing the Implementation of the Integrated Development Project for the Year 2024, which proposes to respond to the new scientific and technological revolution and industrial changes and to promote a deeper integration of traditional and digital publications. The circular looks at the integration of publications within the overall framework of a strategy for cultural power, the construction of powerful power and the digitalization of national culture, emphasizing that content-building is fundamental, that technological innovation underpins and that integration of development is the path.
In operational practice, publishing integration does not amount to simply moving paper content onto the screen, but rather to redesigning processes around selection, editing, knowledge organization, product presentation and dissemination services.Artificial intelligence, data resources and multitemporal technologies can be used to assist, but publishing agencies still need to establish mechanisms for review of rights, fact-checking, quality control of content and retroactive accountability.
This open policy information provides a clear industry context for the AIGC publication integration of the concerns of the Working Committee: technology applications should serve high-quality content production and knowledge services, and applications should start with small, assessable and reviewable business segments. This document is organized on the basis of a public notice and does not represent a project that has been implemented by the Working Committee.
